What we do

Edinburgh Chinese Arts Association (ECAA) is a voluntary, non-profit, and independent arts association.

Since its establishment, the association has held a series of large-scale cultural events.  " The Mound Chinese New Year Celebration" event was successfully held every year during the Spring Festival from 2022. In addition, the "Autumn Light" event was held every Mid-Autumn Festival for five consecutive years. "The Mound Chinese New Year Celebration" is a finalist for the 2023 Edinburgh Creative Communities Award. And is a supported event by Edinburgh 900. 

 

In recent years, the association has actively participated in various community cultural activities. It has also held charity performances many times to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Care Scotland and cooperated with the University of Edinburgh to raise funds for institutions such as the Eric Liddell Center.

 

We hold regular traditional Chinese cultural classes which help participants improve both their physical and mental health.
